Best Buddies
This may not a portrait in the conventional sense. As I began working on this piece, I thought of these work gloves as something of a portrait. They are a part of the user, the shape of the fingers molded to his, the fabric stiff and worn afters years of use. The user's essence, sweat and DNA is in these gloves. His love of woodworking and precision shows in the accompanying tools, used for many years, like the gloves. All are a part of the man, a portrait of his craft and dedication.
